Prawn Pulao Recipe

A delightful combination of prawns, rice and spices.

Ingredients
Prawns 1 cup
Basmati Rice 2 cups washed and soaked for a few minutes
Green Peas to find more about Green Peas 1 cup
Onion to find more about Onion 1 large
Coconut Milk 2 cups
Turmeric to find more about Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Ghee to find more about Ghee or Oil 2 tbsp
Ground coconut 2 tbsp
Salt to find more about Salt to taste

Preparation
Wash the prawns and marinate in turmeric to find more about turmeric and salt to find more about salt for 3 to 5 mins.
Add oil or ghee to find more about ghee to a pan and fry onions till golden brown. Add marinated prawns and green peas to find more about green peas and cover and cook for 10 mins.
Add the rice and fry for a few mins.
Add coconutmilk, ground coconut, salt to find more about salt to taste and 2 cups water. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes till rice is done.
Serve hot with salad.
